Our Soldier Worms are the live larvae of the black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens). While most flies are considered pests, BSF are actually beneficial to the environment as very efficient decomposers of organic waste and a sustainable source of high-quality protein.

Black Soldier Fly Larvae, are great supplemental feeder for your reptiles. Unlike crickets and mealworms they don't require dusting with calcium powder as they are naturally a good source for calcium.

BSF eggs are a great way to begin your BSF compost bin or to hatch small-sized larvae for feeding fish fry or other insects that require micro-sized larvae. They are a great educational tool for children to demonstrate an insect life cycle from start to finish.
